My name is Mari (19).

I'm an universuty sophomore.
I major in English litereture.

My hobby is reading books and cooking.
I like Haruki Murakami amd I respect him because he has the skill of translation.
his work is great, so you must read his book!


My issue is LGBT.
LGBT is stand for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender.
this issue becomes more and more popular, but in Japan,
there are still many people who have negative thought for this issue.

Gay marriage was accepted in Shibuya Ward.
This is the first case in Japan.

Accepting LGBT is equal to respecting for human rights.
However, there are still many problems such as declining birthrate.

We have to think deeply about what is human rights and how to live as we are.

Hello ;) Thank you for visiting our blog! This blog is written by 2 Japanese university girls as a part of class. we chose "LGBT" as  a theme. we would like to talk and think about the theme deeply. Do you know what is "LGBT"? It stands for Lasbian, Gay, Bisexual and trasgender. According to Dentsu's study, it is said that about 7.6 % of people in Japan recognize themselves as LGBT. It is the same amount of people who are left handed. You may be suprised to know so many people are LGBT in Japan. A lot of people hide it and are distressed. We hope this blog helps people to know more about LGBT and  make confortable world for LGBT people. LOVE.

I want to introduce some point os this article. First, Lesbian can't love man. this is of course, but all lesbian are  troubled this fundamental matter.
